Duplantis Design Group is actively looking to add project management personnel to our civil engineering team. The Civil Engineering Project Manager oversees commercial, industrial, municipal, and other civil design & permitting projects. The focus is on client satisfaction aligned with DDG’s core values, ensuring projects are completed within schedule and budget. The role requires operating projects with autonomy, utilizing staff and resources within DDG to deliver high-quality services. Familiarity with project development from preliminary design to construction completion, including jurisdictional permitting, is essential. Client coordination and communication are fundamental skills for this role. Activities + Responsibilities

Produce site civil engineering and land development design plans efficiently. Develop plans including drainage, grading, water, wastewater, signage, and markings for various projects. Prepare drainage and cut/fill calculations. Visualize and plan geographic representations of land development projects. Promote DDG's core values and comply with company standards. Work within project budgets and timelines. Understand and apply DDG CAD Standards and client design criteria. Collaborate with project teams on design and scheduling. Review environmental, wetland, geotechnical, traffic reports for design implementation. Attend client and consultant meetings to understand needs and present solutions. Continuously learn from previous projects and mentor team members. Required Skills/Abilities

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety regulations. Problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OS. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 4+ years of civil engineering experience with progression towards licensure. Experience in commercial land development, including site improvements, drainage, utilities, and grading. Proficiency in civil CAD drafting, preferably with AutoCAD.
