WSP in the U.S. Opportunity Overview This role involves providing technical assistance in the analysis, development, and design of water-related infrastructure such as water supply, stormwater facilities, irrigation, culverts, hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain modeling, habitat restoration, pollution control, and environmental preservation. Responsibilities may also include site planning, grading, and utility design, along with generating accurate documentation to meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with water resources engineering tasks related to water quality, stormwater, irrigation, culverts, hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain mapping, habitat restoration, pollution control, and environmental protection. Support site planning, grading, and utility design tasks. Complete training on assigned tasks. Adhere to ethical standards and company policies. Perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, preferably with a focus on Water Resources. Strong research and analytical skills. Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Attention to detail, self-leadership, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and in teams. Proficiency in technical writing, software, and tools. Commitment to workplace safety and policy adherence. Flexibility for project-specific schedules and occasional travel. Preferred: Engineer in Training Certification. Relevant internship experience. Participation in professional organizations.
