Estimating is an essential part of CEI’s sales engine, supporting project management and skill development within the team. Responsibilities
Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work. May create, maintain and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices) and assemblies. Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time. Manage quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure pricing includes all scope items. Qualifications
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in electrical estimating in commercial/industrial/high tech industry. 5 years’ experience with a design/build contractor. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. BA/BS preferred. Licensure/Certifications: None required. Other: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Skills: Proven verbal and written communication, attention to detail, collaborative team player.
