is seeking an
MES Engineer
for a well-known biopharmaceutical CDMO in
Holly Springs, North Carolina (NC) . The
MES Engineer
will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for MES (Syncade) and DeltaV automation systems, while maintaining workflows and integrations in a GMP-regulated environment.
The
MES Engineer
is a full-time, hybrid position in Holly Springs, NC. This is a contract role that will run until January 2026, with potential for extension.
Responsibilities of the
MES Engineer :
Support the design and implementation of an Emerson DeltaV MES (Syncade) system to enable paperless manufacturing with full ERP/MES/DCS integration. Provide technical support for MES (Syncade) and automation systems (DeltaV) in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure minimal downtime for production operations. Configure and maintain MES workflows, recipes, and electronic batch records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and process improvements. Support integration between MES and automation/control systems.
Qualifications for the
MES Engineer :
1+ years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV MES (Syncade), including configuration debugging and environment migrations. Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Event Viewer, and basic scripting (VBScript, XML/XPATH/XSLT, SQL/TSQL). Knowledge of cGMP environments and regulatory frameworks such as FDA, S88, ISA-95, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11. Exposure to Kneat Gx, TrackWise, DeltaV DCS, AVEVA PI System, and Informetric InfoBatch (preferred but not required). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $50-$55/hour Comprehensive Benefits: Sick leave if required by law, medical, dental, vision, 401K
