Overview
Part Time Customer Experience Manager at Michaels Stores. Deliver a customer centric shopping experience by managing front-end operations, leading omnichannel processes, and maintaining store recovery standards to uphold our Brand Promises. Provide friendly customer service and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.
Responsibilities
Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold the team accountable for store conditions and results
Ensure front-end policies and procedures are followed; achieve KPIs and manage the team to achieve their KPIs
Plan and lead the execution of class and in-store events in accordance with Company programs
Lead omnichannel processes and manage shrink and safety programs
Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits
Assist with inventory processes including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities as needed
Assist with onboarding of new Team Members
Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team (sales floor and cashier) to achieve results; participate in performance management; support Talent Development
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and model respectful, positive behavior aligned with the organization’s values
Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions
Participate in truck unloading and stocking to ensure truck standards are met and completed
Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production (in stores where applicable)
In select stores without a Framing Manager, lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions and manage framing workload in partnership with the Store Manager
Qualifications
Retail management experience preferred
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time and move throughout the store
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Public retail store setting; climate-controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled
Some outdoor work for activities such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks
Framing area includes tools such as glass cutter and heat press
Work hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings
Additional Information
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job
Total base pay range: $15.75 - $22.10
