Summary The Tasting Room Manager oversees the daily operations of our San Antonio Winery tasting room in Paso Robles, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, a high-performing team, and efficient, profitable operations. This role requires a hands-on, service-oriented leader who embodies our core hospitality values and shares a deep passion for wine, food, and customer service.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of restaurant management operations
Deliver an educational wine tasting experience maximizing customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to all restaurant customer issues
Enliven our core hospitality values from warm welcome through fond farewell
Maintain restaurant revenue, profitability, and quality goals
A successful candidate will lead by example, and uplift staff in our fast-paced environment
Assist as needed with food prep and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Handle high-stress situations calmly and with good judgment to please customers and keep staff focused on daily goals
Manage Restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to protect and improve it
Promote our brand in the community through word-of-mouth and special events
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or Culinary Arts preferred
Proven track record of success in Restaurant Hospitality or similar role
Proven customer service experience as a leader
A passion for sharing wine knowledge to inspire staff and customers about our products
Familiarity with restaurant management software like Micros POS
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Ability to remain composed and professional in dynamic environments
Available to work flexible schedule: including days, nights, weekends, holidays
Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge: ability to recall menu ingredients and preparations to educate staff and guests
Food Safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus
Pay Range $70,000 - $80,000 USD
