Position: Per Diem Supply Chain Technician - Clinical Supply Chain - PD - Days Responsibilities
Functions as specialist, providing purchasing and inventory management support to a specific area of hospital inventory supply/equipment. Duties include supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed. This position also is responsible for working with departmental end users/customers, ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Must have 1 year of previous job-related experience managing a multiple product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule to meet operational needs Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of hospital MMIS system Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures Inventory management experience in a hospital, clinic or similar environment Licenses and Certifications:
