Job Summary The Senior Business Architect will be a strategic leader within the RCYC Data & Analytics team, responsible for designing the business architecture that connects enterprise strategy, business processes, and data-driven capabilities. This role ensures that RCYC’s analytics platform, governance model, and data products enable integrated value across Sales, Reservations, Operations, Marketing, Marine Operations, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain RCYC’s data & analytics business architecture, including value streams, business capabilities, and integration points across departments.

Translate corporate strategy into actionable architecture blueprints that guide platform development and analytics product delivery.

Partner with business unit leaders to align analytics capabilities with the enterprise objectives, ensuring the enterprise roadmap reflects both departmental and cross-functional needs.

Support governance processes by ensuring that business architecture standards are consistently applied across all initiatives.

Architect how data products (dashboards, KPIs, models) integrate into business processes and decision-making, maximizing adoption and impact.

Define business capability requirements for the RCYC analytics platform and ensure they are incorporated into platform modernization efforts.

Serve as a trusted advisor for executive leadership on business architecture and data strategy.

Facilitate collaboration between technology teams (data engineers, platform architects) and business units (sales, marketing, call center, finance).

Shape the business architecture lens on the RCYC enterprise analytics roadmap, ensuring prioritization criteria reflect strategic impact.

Identify opportunities for cross-functional integration, such as linking sales pipeline, reservation demand, and call center performance into a unified 360° Command Center.

Qualifications

10–12 years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or data strategy roles

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience in designing processes that integrate across multiple systems and technologies, ensuring smooth data flow and functional coherence

Proven experience in designing and delivering business process architecture deliverables, such as capability maps, process flowcharts, and business capability models

Strong knowledge of business capability modeling, value stream mapping, and operating model design

Proven ability to align business strategy with data and analytics solutions in a complex, customer-facing environment (hospitality, travel, or luxury services preferred)

Experience in system integration and data modeling, particularly within enterprise platforms like Snowflake, Salesforce, AWS, and their role in enabling business processes

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at the C-suite level and collaborate effectively across business and technical teams

Certifications (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK, CBAP, SAFe Business Architect) strongly preferred
