Clinical Nurse Manager - RN - Labor and Delivery - Full-time - Evenings at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Responsibilities
Manage patient care delivery for Labor and Delivery, serving as a clinical resource and administrator in the absence of unit leaders or when care-related issues arise. Facilitate efficient and cost-effective daily operations of the unit(s) in relation to patient throughput, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. Promote a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, participate in the establishment of unit short- and long-term goals and ensure alignment with the hospital's overall strategic goals. Accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Current New York State RN license 2+ years of acute care RN experience in Labor and Delivery Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the National Certification Corporation BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Preferred Education
Master\'s Degree in related area Shift and Location
Full-time evening shift 2PM-12AM (one week a month 7PM-5AM) at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. Salary
$130,000-$155,000/Annual Additional Information
