The Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) provides technical and clinical support within an assigned territory, covering bradycardia and tachycardia product segments. The FCS represents BIOTRONIK, delivering education, follow-up services, implant services, in-service training, and other related services to the sales force, physicians, and other cardiac pacing professionals. The FCS will report to the Regional Sales Director and work with local sales representatives for day-to-day activities. Responsibilities

Provide pacemaker & ICD follow-up to BIOTRONIK patients and physician customers. Provide pacemaker & ICD implant support within the area of geographic responsibility. Provide in-service training to physicians, nursing, and technical hospital staff. Train peers in cardiac pacing and BIOTRONIK products. Provide technical and administrative support for clinical studies, which may include data collection, supporting clinical sites, and patient support. Ensure all necessary paperwork for implants, follow-up, or data collection for clinical studies is accurate. Maintain current knowledge of cardiac pacing, defibrillators, and electrophysiology; maintain product and technical knowledge of BIOTRONIK bradycardia and tachycardia products. Demonstrate competency in ICD implant and follow-up; certification within six months if not already certified. Maintain or obtain IBHRE certification; if not certified, certification must be achieved within two years of hire date. Support the sales team within the territory as needed and provide on-call coverage as required (24/7, weekends rotate by territory schedule). Provide implant and follow-up coverage when sales representatives are unavailable or in training. Travel within the Area Sales Director's territory; cross-over coverage in emergencies may be necessary; up to 30% out-of-town travel expected. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Profile / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, or Bio-Engineering. Minimum of three years of experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or pacing, with emphasis on pacemaker and ICD support. Pacemaker implantation and/or follow-up experience. Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent communication skills; ability to work with all levels of the company. Travel / Availability Requirements

Provide 24/7 on-call territory coverage (including holidays, weekends, evenings). Willing to work and travel on weekends and evenings; able to travel outside the assigned territory as needed. Maintain continuous verbal and written communication; drive approximately 80% of the time within the assigned territory. Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy. Physical Job Requirements

Frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs; sit/stand/walk for extended periods. Environmental exposures including eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation. Manual dexterity to operate tools and controls; ability to use mobile phone, PC, keyboard, and mouse. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and balance tasks.
