Part-time (adjunct) Clinical Instruction as CSP transitions to become Concordia University, St. Paul - Denver Campus. The CSP College of Nursing is seeking graduate-prepared nurses with expertise in pediatric nursing to teach baccalaureate students in the clinical setting. Teaching may also occur in the simulation environment. Faculty are expected to deliver high-quality instruction and support the Christian mission of the university. Position Overview
Faculty work as part of a team of full- and part-time colleagues to deliver engaging instruction to nursing students pursuing their BSN. Demonstrate innovation and excellence in course instruction, foster active engagement with students, and support the university’s Christian mission. Course Description
NSG 387P (2.0 Credits) Practicum, Nursing Care of the Pediatric Patient/Client: enables students to apply concepts, principles, and skills in the patient/client healthcare environment. Course Instruction Responsibilities
Facilitate quality student learning through teaching assigned courses. Deliver clinical instruction on dates as scheduled. Provide substantive and timely feedback on course assessments, following guidelines, typically within five business days of due dates. Respond to student inquiries typically within 24 hours during business days (48 hours on weekends). Collaborate with academic advising, career development, and the academic team to ensure student success. Perform other job-related duties as assigned and follow university policies and procedures. Qualifications
Education Required:
Minimum of a graduate degree in nursing from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing accreditation; alternatively, if the graduate degree is in another field, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing accreditation and demonstrate relevance to the area of responsibility. Experience Required:
3 years as an RN. Licensure/Certifications:
Unencumbered Colorado license. Supplemental Information
