Position: Associate Veterinarian | Silverthorn Animal Clinic, Spring Hill, FL. Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus. Our mission is to provide the best possible care for every pet, with a warm, personal touch.

About the Practice The Silverthorn Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that handles emergency and routine medical, surgical, and dental issues. Our team is experienced with a wide range of illnesses and treatments, and we strive to maintain a comfortable, kid-friendly, calm environment for pets, clients, and staff.

We offer specialty services including chiropractic, holistic care, acupuncture, exotic medicine, reproduction, stem cell/PRP Prolo Therapy, and ultrasound. The facility includes a spacious treatment area, a separate surgical suite, and three wet tables. Our team consists of one Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), multiple technicians, assistants, and client service representatives who are fully utilized to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For We’re seeking an experienced

Associate Veterinarian

to join a well-equipped clinic with a loyal clientele. You’ll have the tools and autonomy to practice the medicine you’re passionate about in a collaborative, low-stress environment, with support for your professional growth.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a variety of companion animals.

Perform physical exams, interpret diagnostics, and create treatment plans.

Conduct surgeries and dental procedures.

Guide clients on preventive care and wellness strategies.

Collaborate with team members to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Requirements / Qualifications

DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program.

Active (or eligible for) Florida veterinary license.

DEA license (or ability to obtain).

Excellent communication skills.

A collaborative spirit and a passion for pet wellness.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (with team assistance for heavier items).
