Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Responsibilities include resident assessment, education, coordination of care, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for long term care residents.

Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans.

Coordinate resident assessment and resident education.

Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within competency.

Maintain compliance with state nursing practice act and administrative rules.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing; multistate licensure preferred.

Maintain required department specific competencies and certifications.
