Summary The Clinical Research RN I (CRN I) facilitates clinical research activity at Moffitt Cancer Center and/or affiliated institutions by leading the coordination of opening new protocols, evaluating new patients, registering eligible patients, and coordinating protocol-related care for patients enrolled in clinical trials. The CRN I is required to have in-depth knowledge of protocol requirements and good clinical practices as set forth by Federal regulations. The research nurse will coordinate and provide direct patient care, perform ongoing assessments, deliver patient education, and document in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines for research patients enrolled in Moffitt's clinical trials. The CRN I will act as a liaison between investigators, primary care providers, Moffitt regulatory staff, and sponsors. Responsibilities include screening, enrolling, and following study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring during the study. This position is also responsible for maintaining data and source documentation, adverse event reporting, regulatory files in conjunction with the regulatory specialist, subject accruals, and protocol tracking. Qualifications Direct research nursing experience Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple work assignments Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Credentials BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience, or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with three years of relevant experience Florida RN License Additional Information Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Healthcare Provider Industries: Hospitals and Healthcare Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Moffitt Cancer Center by 2x.
