Overview
Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a
full-time (1.0 FTE) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
to join our Pulmonary Team located in
Muskegon , Michigan.
Practice Features:
APP will join a professional, confident, and friendly team of 5 Physicians and 4 APPs
Level 2 trauma center
APP will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Responsibilities
Inpatient responsibilities include rounding, writing orders, vent management, sedation, intubation, line placement, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion and management. Performs floor calls for unstable patients and assesses appropriateness for transfer to ICU.
Outpatient responsibilities focus on hospital follow-up and acute care visits including but not limited to patient assessment, patient education, care coordination, and disease management.
1:4 weekend coverage
No call required
Qualifications
Experience strongly preferred in Pulmonology, Hospital Medicine, Cardiology, or Critical Care
APPs must be board certified in their specialty prior to employment
State of Michigan license required at time of employment
DEA license
BLS certification and maintain recertification
