Overview – Emergency Department at St. Anthony Hospital The Emergency Department at St. Anthony Hospital, one of our proud Magnet designated hospitals, is a verified American College of Surgeons’ Level I Trauma Center. We are a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center and a cardiac receiving center. We are a high-volume ED treating a variety of medical and cardiac conditions with 46 beds and approximately 58,000 visits per year. We are the home of Flight for Life Colorado and surrounding areas bring around 1,000 patients from medical to trauma. We look for candidates with strong teamwork capabilities, collaboration, flexibility, and servant leadership, who can foster a warm and caring environment.
Responsibilities The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). The role includes management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. It supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
Qualifications
3 years recent Emergency Room RN experience, required
1-year recent Emergency Room clinical leadership experience, required
High School GED required
A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required
Masters Degree preferred
Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
BLS through the American Heart Association
Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.
Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved
Physical Requirements Medium Work - Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Location Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado.
