Interprets and implements prescription and treatment plan. Delivers and charts all simulation and treatment summaries. Performs simulation procedures, prepares immobilization devices. Obtains accurate measurements, contours, and other information as needed for dosimetry purposes. Assesses treatment machines and performs daily equipment warm-up and quality assurance procedures. Assists in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists if applicable. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Responsible for basic patient care during treatment delivery, assists with patient education, observes and monitors day-to-day clinical progress of patients for signs of treatment symptoms. Provides accurate daily billing information for all treatment related procedures. Responsible for scheduling and treating patients in a timely and professional manner. Skills

Radiology Tech License in the state of practice Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified. Physical Requirements
Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require verbal communication and quick understanding of spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues. Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision; frequent computer use for documentation. Lift and transfer patients; bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment; may involve heavy items. Walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment; navigate crowded rooms. Stand in a stationary position for extended periods. Driving requirements: may be required to drive a vehicle. Location
