Fulfill all responsibilities of the Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist position as detailed in the respective job descriptions. Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team and comply with company policies and procedures. Monitor and track x-ray orders to ensure timely completion and submission. Assist patients with proper positioning to ensure diagnostic quality. Ensure activities comply with department expectations and federal/state regulations, including HIPAA. Review exam images for provider initial read and send final images to the Radiology group for over-read. Correctly label image laterality and ensure absence of removable artifacts; document any artifacts with explanation in the history. Address minor maintenance issues with imaging machines and coordinate with the nurse coordinator or Clinic Director before outsourcing. Monitor equipment condition (cassettes, chest bucky, exam table) and report issues; clean equipment to prevent cross-contamination. Distribute pregnancy waiver forms where applicable. Triage patients, record vitals, gather clinical history, and assist with basic nursing tasks as applicable in your state when not imaging. Maintain radiation monitoring and ensure badges are worn and reported as required. Complete mandatory compliance training and participate in onboarding of new employees, including tours and process overview. Assist with training by providing shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching; support a positive work environment and customer relations. Maintain professional relationships with employees and clients; uphold the company core values. Adhere to job physical demands and company standards of operations. Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and health information practices. Qualifications
ARRT License (Registered Technologist). State License (Registered Technologists and Limited Scope). License must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the appropriate regulatory agency. TB and IV Certification required to be obtained within 60 days of employment and maintained, if applicable in your state. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Compliance: Completion of mandatory compliance training; ability to adhere to core values and operate within company standards.
