Description
The Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality and cost-effective medical management of patients under the care of the physician and within the State scope of practice. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care. Provides expanded primary health care services for a caseload of patients in the area of clinical specialization. Responsibilities

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with MSN or DNP Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in North Carolina Board Certified - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Ability to work as a team member Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fundamental knowledge of PC-based applications Good physical and mental fitness to meet job demands Full range of motion to perform duties; ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Intact sight and hearing with or without assistive devices
