Pathologist position with CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. The role includes clinical and teaching responsibilities, leadership potential as a Laboratory Director, and participation in education of residents, medical students, and technologists. Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams; provide clear and concise medical information; foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records; document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans; ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging; perform procedures as needed. Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions; provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives; review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement; implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice; stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements; participate in audits and ongoing medical education. Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. Qualifications

American Board Certified or Board Eligible in the specified area of Medical Specialty. A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible. Where You'll Work

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. The candidate should be eligible for full-time appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher, with fellowship training in Cytopathology, Soft Tissue, Lung, or Surgical pathology. Experience and subspecialty fellowship training is highly desirable. Ability to serve as Laboratory Director and participate in education of residents, medical students, and medical technologists. Willingness to maintain a high level of service and collaborate within a diverse environment with strong communication skills. Practice Information
