Overview
The incumbent performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. The incumbent assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. The incumbent acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, Joint Commission Standards, and professional and ethical practice. Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications Recent 3 years of wound care nursing experience required. AA degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state as a Registered Nurse. Wound Care Certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer (WOUND CARE CERTIFICATION; RN; CTPR/BLS). Preferred Qualifications Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required. Recent 5 years of wound care nursing experience preferred. BS degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Where You\'ll Work

It is the sole provider of obstetrical services and has the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County.
