The Challenge and Opportunity Join our Experience Success Engineering (ESE) team to architect the future of intelligent web performance! Leverage groundbreaking AI technologies to autonomously optimize digital experiences, accelerate site speed, and evolve content delivery across the modern web! This role centers on deploying agentic systems and AI-powered automation to enhance web infrastructure, performance, and adaptability—without relying on manual intervention or traditional client servicing.
Core Focus Areas
Web Optimization Using Machine Learning: Apply machine learning models and LLMs to analyze site telemetry, identify performance bottlenecks, and generate code-level improvements. Use AEM Sites Optimizer and custom AI pipelines to drive continuous improvement.
Autonomous Performance Engineering: Build and refine self-learning systems that monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues across large-scale web ecosystems. Integrate AI feedback loops to evolve optimization strategies in real time.
Develop and Deploy Autonomous Agents: Implement optimization tasks, validate outcomes via Core Web Vitals and SEO metrics, and adapt based on user engagement signals.
Predictive Modeling & Technical Audits: Use AI to forecast performance outcomes, simulate optimization scenarios, and align technical decisions with strategic digital goals.
Platform Intelligence & Automation: Collaborate with engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into AEM and Site Optimizer, transforming recurring patterns into scalable, automated features.
Data-Driven Decision Systems: Translate performance data into actionable insights using AI-enhanced dashboards, predictive analytics, and visualization tools.
Capabilities For Success
Strong foundation in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
Experience integrating AI into web performance workflows, including code analysis, personalization, and optimization.
Proficiency in front-end engineering (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java) and CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager.
Deep understanding of browser performance, caching strategies, and CDN tuning.
Familiarity with Real User Monitoring (RUM) tools and AI-enhanced observability platforms.
Ability to design, deploy, and monitor AI models in production environments.
Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker).
Knowledge of headless frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and API-first implementations (REST, GraphQL).
Bonus Points
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
Proven success applying AI to optimize web performance at scale.
Experience building autonomous systems for Fortune 500 digital platforms.
Compensation Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $112,000 — $197,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
