Overview
Allied Resources Group (ARG) is hiring a
Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
to lead and manage multidisciplinary projects within the power generation sectors. You will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with all standards. This is a direct hire role ranging up to $150k with a comprehensive benefits package.
Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Additional compensation

Responsibilities
Lead projects from concept through execution and completion. Plan and manage personal tasks and delegate work to team members. Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Participate in and/or lead squad check drawing package reviews. Read, interpret, and verify vendor E&I drawings and catalogs. Manage and develop documentation for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers and designers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. 10–15 years of engineering design experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain within 12 months. Familiarity with UL, API, NFPA, IEEE, NEC, and/or NEMA standards. Experience in 480V and below systems including MCCs, transformers, ASDs, and related calculations (conduit fill, voltage drop, sizing, etc.). Experience with power system studies using EasyPower, SKM, or ETAP.
