This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and support the design, development, and optimization of industrial control systems. You’ll work cross-functionally to integrate controls into manufacturing processes, manage projects, and drive innovation in a dynamic production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement control strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Establish and enforce engineering standards for control system design and implementation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical input on the selection and implementation of control hardware and software.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and implement innovations as needed.
Manage controls engineering projects and align activities with overall project goals.
Collaborate with external controls vendors to ensure effective project execution.
Facilitate training sessions for team members and end-users on control system operation and maintenance.
Lead and mentor small group of control technicians across all shifts.
Create and maintain documentation for control system designs, configurations, and changes.
