Execute welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material. Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic (robotic) welding equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and job orders to determine appropriate welding processes. Ensure welding is completed to the required standards and specifications. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformity with specifications. Deburr pieces to create appropriate welding services when necessary. Robotic Welders: Operate and program robotic welding equipment. Set up robotic welding systems for production runs. Monitor robotic welding operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with robotic welding equipment. Maintain welding equipment in good working condition. Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve production goals. Record and report production data accurately and timely. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes. Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards. Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules. Qualifications/Skills
Knowledge of shop math, welding applications and practices. Ability to read blueprints and follow specific written instructions and procedures. Ability to understand measuring equipment such as micrometers and dial calipers. Ability to organize, prioritize and plan daily work assignments in a self-directed changing environment. 1-3 years Mig and Tig welding experience required. Company Benefits/Perks
