Dewberry is seeking a
Water/Wastewater Electrical Engineer
(W/WW) to join our MEPS Infrastructure group in our
Nashville, TN
office. The successful candidate should have experience specifying, designing, and implementing electrical power systems for Water/Wastewater projects. This position has the potential to develop and lead a group of water/wastewater electrical engineers. The candidate will report to the MEPS Infrastructure Department Manager.

Responsibilities
Provide electrical power system engineering and design for Water/Wastewater projects.
Design low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layouts, and related systems.
Prepare electrical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
Review and approve contractor submittals.
Sizing conduit and wiring, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and designing lighting systems.
Coordinate with instrumentation and controls engineers and other disciplines to execute electrical designs.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
5-10 years of design experience in Water/Wastewater projects or WW/W operations.
PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Self-starter with initiative, drive, and determination.
Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA Life Safety Codes, and related standards.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills for coordination and client interaction.
