Field Engineer Reports to:
Field Operations Leader Purpose:
Learn the fundamentals of building and assist the project team to ensure quality work is performed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities : Work with superintendent and foreman to learn building fundamentals and codes Aid superintendent and project manager with project budgeting, bidding, buyouts, procurement log, RFIs, and certifications of occupancies Provide input in Pre- and 1st Installation Verification meetings with trade partners Complete procurement log and submittals in a timely manner Ensure equipment and materials arrive at the jobsite per schedule Promote, enforce, and train trade partners on Graham’s safety policies Conduct safety walks and reports Work closely with Superintendent and Project Manager to learn labor and material reports and analyze available money and manpower for specific work activities Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook Follow Graham Core Process, including jobsite checklists Maintain great relationships with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Bachelor’s degree in construction management/related degree (preferred); associate’s degree in construction management or equivalent field experience Great verbal and written communication skills Extremely detail-oriented Strong leadership skills Legal Requirements : Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary Valid driver’s license Ability to pass pre-employment testing Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification Ability to work within one of Graham Construction’s operational areas as assigned Benefits : Personalized growth opportunities 401K with a 6% immediate vesting match Two healthcare plans to choose from Vision, Dental, & Life Insurance Paid Time Off 9 Company holidays annually Note:
