Overview
Field Service Technician - Window Cleaning (69132) at Valcourt Group. Window washing technicians perform general window cleaning using brushes, sponges, or wet cloths to apply soapy water or other cleaning solutions to exterior building surfaces. After applying cleaning products, technicians dry the wet glass with a cloth or squeegee. Pressure cleaning professionals independently operate high‑pressure cleaning equipment and wash areas assigned to them. This can include using various cleaning materials to achieve the desired results of cleaning and sanitation. Duties/Responsibilities
Use either a Rope Descent System or scaffolding to reach outside windows up to 500 feet for cleaning or hold and maneuver up to 60’ of watered extension poles (approximately 25 pounds) to clean third and fourth floor windows from the ground. Set up and climb ladders to reach second and third story windows. Work with and/or transport mildly abrasive chemically based cleaning solutions such as chlorine and ammonia. Required Skills/Abilities
Good communication and customer service skills Availability for overtime and occasional weekend or night work Valid driver’s license is preferred Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements
Lift and carry ~50 pounds regularly and repeatedly throughout the workday, carrying equipment up flights of stairs and fixed ladders.
