Overview

The GIS analyst is responsible for ongoing operations of the Geographic Information System (GIS) program to a high standard of quality and collaborates with team members on project scope and schedule, customer satisfaction, and productivity. Responsibilities

Utilizes ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and Portal for ArcGIS. Designs and edits GIS data for numerous projects. Designs, develops, and implements GIS applications. Generates maps, reports, and other outputs from GIS systems. Provides training and support to users of GIS applications. Ensures alignment of data with company standards. Monitors and applies industry best practices. Maintains data integrity and accuracy. Has general knowledge of handheld devices and field apps. Role Context

Leads the application of geospatial technologies in the Oil and Gas sector, addressing tasks such as change detection and monitoring, and uses data mining and feature extraction technologies with accuracy assessment procedures to enhance geospatial analysis and modeling. Identifies and applies innovative approaches to geospatial analysis specific to Oil and Gas operations. Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in GIS Analysis, Environmental Science, Geography, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience with ESRI software 2+ years of experience using ArcGIS Pro Working knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise Solid cartographic skills Detailed project management and facilitation skills Excellent attention to detail; verbal and written communication Compensation & Benefits
