Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and budget.

Coordinate with field crews, including preparing field packages.

Work closely with teams to resolve issues and meet project goals and objectives.

Manage project activities during each phase, including boundary and topographic surveys, subdivision platting, ALTA surveys, wetland mapping, easement platting, GIS mapping, and SUE mapping.

Process field data and generate topographic contours, staking base files, road alignments, and foundation surveys.

Coordinate project submittals with local municipalities.

Foster client relations to build long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

NC Professional Land Surveyors License required.

Four-year bachelor's degree or two-year associate's degree in a survey-related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of project management experience; 5 years with mentoring and training preferred.

Strong technical knowledge in land surveying with field experience in subdivisions, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

Experience with construction-related survey computations and staking plans, including erosion control, utility, grading, storm drainage, and building layout.

Proficiency in preparing topo surveys, boundary and ALTA/ACSM maps, plats, easement exhibits, researching records, legal descriptions, and property history.

Ability to develop scope and fee proposals and manage projects effectively.

Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Carlson.

Excellent communication skills.
