Designs automated equipment and machinery to complete manual processes and tasks. Implements automated tests to evaluate the integrity of automated systems. Identifies opportunities for automation to improve production and efficiency. Provides technical support for automated systems as needed. Writes documentation manuals detailing automated processes and design changes. Supports key systems such as Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), Process Control Systems (PCS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/EBR), and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Manages the system lifecycle, from initial design to validation. Supports capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) projects. Ensures data integrity, cybersecurity, and regulatory readiness in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11 requirements. Experience / Qualifications
3-5 Years of Experience Location & Compensation
Hagerstown, MD; Germantown, MD. Salary ranges listed: Hagerstown $180,000.00-$240,000.00; Germantown $92,000.00-$138,000.00.
