Job Description for Systems Engineer at DBSI Services
Perform technical execution, risk management, and requirements management for new product development. Analyze customer flow-down requirements, assess feasibility, and develop technical solutions, including test strategies and architecture, test design, and development. Develop system documentation such as system-level requirements, Interface Control Documents, Hardware Requirements Specifications, Printed Board Assembly (PBA) Design Specifications, Software Test Plans and Procedures (DO-178 compliant), Hardware Verification Test Plans (DO-254 compliant), and certification documents. Design and develop test cases/scripts and perform testing, including complex electronic hardware verification to meet DO-254 certification requirements. Maintain covariance analysis tests for performance verification, Kalman Filter measurement design, and support software development efforts. Develop and maintain automated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation frameworks and automated Desk Top Simulation (DTS) and Monte Carlo test frameworks. Update and monitor project schedules from a systems engineering perspective. Manage internal and external stakeholders and their needs. Develop estimates for system development, including technical baselines, risks, opportunities, conditions, and assumptions to support proposals. Identify and implement cost, schedule, and technical efficiency improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience. Head Count: 3
