Job Details Schedule: 4:00pm - 4:15am (Thurs - Sat and every other Wednesday)
Pay: $27.73-$36.39
Responsibilities
Ensure shift team complies with company safety and quality procedures.
Coach, train and develop shift team; work with line team to determine root cause and solve line losses and performance outages.
Own Line Shift DDS process including shift-to-shift handover; build robust plan for planned stops with roles and actions.
Team development: work with Manufacturing Line Manager to plan and execute training.
Work with other Line Shift leaders to resolve staffing issues; coordinate staffing across shift; follow escalation process for critical areas.
Know plant standards around safety, break-time, quality, vacation scheduling, overtime management, absenteeism, etc.; provide constructive feedback and rewards.
Build own technical skills and help Manufacturing Line Manager and Technical Specialists set priorities to maximize process reliability, uptime results and loss reduction.
Ensure all shift documentation, SOP processes and orders are completed per standard.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
2-4 years working as production/machine operator required.
Experience in high-speed food manufacturing and/or bottling operations knowledge.
Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial technology; food manufacturing experience preferred.
Effective communication; demonstrated ability to be a team player.
Demonstrated high level of commitment and dependability.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve and maximize results, build effective working relationships.
Takes accountability for results, embraces change, acts with integrity, shows leadership maturity.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
