This role involves supporting US Public Sector customers. The position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS, which includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and drug test. Employment is contingent upon passing these checks. Only US citizens, naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents (green card holders) will be considered. This is a flexible position based in Orlando, Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, with shifts covering weekends. The ServiceNow PSE team maintains and supports the reliability, scalability, and performance of the cloud infrastructure automations and platform. Engineers are empowered to resolve complex issues across the technology stack, focusing on operational reliability and reducing MTTR. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, proactive system improvements, automation, and collaboration with partner teams to enhance cloud infrastructure performance. What You Will Do Investigate and resolve issues within cloud infrastructure and applications. Utilize software development, systems engineering, and networking skills to prevent issues. Collaborate on initiatives to improve system design and reliability. Promote automation to reduce manual activities and increase scalability. Qualifications Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack). Metric-driven approach and customer engagement skills. Availability for weekend shifts and on-call duties. 5+ years in enterprise systems support, operations, or development. Knowledge of Linux, programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, Bash), networking protocols, and databases. Experience with web applications, APIs, Splunk, and Agile methodologies. Nice to Have Experience with Container Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). Development experience on the ServiceNow platform. Soft Skills Self-motivated with a customer support mindset.
