Technical Key Account Manager . The VISHAY Area Sales Team adds value by implementing the sales strategy and related marketing measures to sell products to a range of customers in an assigned territory. This role involves selling passive and discrete semiconductors components, along with engineering tools, to assigned business clients, planning operations, and providing relevant data, information, and service. Job Location: The candidate must be based in Northern California / Bay Area. This role is remote but requires in-person meetings with customers and at the local office. Travel is expected to be 0-10%. What you will be doing: Selling products and services from assigned VISHAY businesses in the region. Providing forecasts, analyzing market conditions, and maintaining stakeholder networks. Identifying leads, negotiating proposals, and coordinating project realization. Implementing marketing campaigns for assigned markets. Serving as the main contact for customers on commercial matters, ensuring VISHAY's market leadership perception. Addressing quality issues, clarifying, and initiating solutions. Coordinating with colleagues outside the territory for forecasting and revenue tracking. Working with cross-functional teams to provide excellent sales and service. Building relationships within customer organizations to facilitate communication and initiatives. Proactively anticipating stakeholder needs. Establishing strong relationships with distribution partners to drive revenue opportunities. Hosting or joining meetings across time zones as needed. A job at this level involves: Selling passive and discrete semiconductors and engineering tools, onsite or remote. Planning own activities according to set plans. Actively engaging with stakeholders to provide information and support. Coordinating services to meet stakeholder expectations and optimize processes. Using independent judgment on relevant subjects. What you will bring: Technical degree: BSEE or MSEE. 3-5 years’ experience in the electronic component industry. Experience with local design accounts and overseas procurement preferred. Established relationships with procurement and design teams from global Tier 1 OEMs. Availability to host or join meetings in different time zones.
