Job Description The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design and production of construction documents for projects ranging from small commercial buildings to thirty-story mid-rise towers. The candidate should have strong design skills in steel, conventional and post-tensioned concrete, and timber construction. Knowledge of structural design and drafting software such as RAM Structural System, ETABS, ADAPT, Elements/STAAD, Concept, AutoCAD, and REVIT is preferred. A B.S. in Civil Engineering is required, with the ability to become licensed in Louisiana.
Responsibilities include reviewing feasibility studies, estimating materials, applying engineering principles to building design, and meeting project deadlines through effective time management.
