and is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Power Electronics Engineer
to join our group focused on electric vehicle powertrain development. In collaboration with customers, you will contribute to deploying advanced technologies and deliverables from our Headquarters Engineering Center to drive robust solutions. Responsibilities
Support customer technical communication to ensure correct and meaningful customer requirements are understood by internal colleagues. Attend Regular PDT (Production Development Team) meetings and urgent meetings to understand issues during development and mass production phases. Collaborate with Lead Engineers to provide clear recommendations to the HQ development team, ensuring customer requirements and issues are understood through virtual/onsite meetings and customer visits. Maintain engineering specifications, DFMEAs, and DVP&Rs throughout the development phase. Support APQP, DFM/DFA, and IATF 16949 compliance, including defining and verifying critical characteristics and design feasibility. Provide on-site engineering support at customer locations, including tasks like software reflash, sample delivery, and corrections. Assist with root cause analysis of warranty products and report findings to relevant teams; perform remediation testing as needed and coordinate with HQ/global engineers. Engage in technical risk reporting based on customer communication, and provide recommendations to relevant teams. Participate in technical discussions and data gathering for RFQs/RFPs and quoting, supporting HQ with technical review materials and acting as a technical liaison between customer and HQ. Conduct technical research and benchmarking for new business opportunities and share continuous improvement ideas with the region and HQ. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering. Experience in development engineering in the automotive industry. Knowledge of semiconductor analysis (MOSFET, diode, gate drive, OP-amp, digital circuits). Ability to read electrical schematics, control system configurations, and standard work instructions. Skills in circuit analysis equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, power supply). Ability to select electrical components and understand analog and digital circuit design. Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules for communication across time zones (e.g., HQ in Korea). Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, and MS Teams. A passion for discovery and learning and the ability to navigate challenges. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in power electronics engineering, including converter and inverter technologies. bilingual in English and Korean. Authorization and Visa
