Our client is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join their engineering team. We're a manufacturing company focused on developing innovative electrical control solutions and supporting production operations across our facilities. What You'll Do
Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing products from order requirements and specifications Write PLC and HMI programs using Allen Bradley Logix & Siemens Simatic Step 7 software Create Sequence of Operations, Control Schematics, and Control Panel layout drawings using CAD software Generate bills of material for cost estimates and manufacturing processes Provide technical support to shop personnel during manufacturing and field support as required Manage deadline-driven workload across multiple projects with occasional travel Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NFPA 79 (Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery) Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software applications Experience troubleshooting electrical control circuits and reading mechanical drawings/electrical schematics General working and programming knowledge of PLC, HMI and VFDs with Allen Bradley Logix & Siemens Simatic Step 7 experience preferred Authorized to work in the United States Ability to program variable frequency drives and controllers Knowledge of IEC, CEC, & DIN standards Experience with sensor & power module technologies, failure mode analysis, and manufacturing solutions Seniority level
