QA Automation Engineer

to join our growing

QA Automation Team . You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our cloud-based applications, used by thousands of job seekers and clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their tech career who’s eager to grow their skills in automation, cloud testing, and Agile development—while making real, impactful contributions from day one. What You’ll Do

Write clean, scalable automated test scripts in Ruby, JavaScript, or another OOP language (we’re currently all-in on Ruby!) Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to catch bugs early and ship confidently Design and run data-driven test cases to validate real-world user scenarios and edge cases Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze test failures—work closely with developers to squash bugs and improve reliability Build testing utilities and internal libraries to streamline test development and improve platform maintainability Own and monitor test execution results, contributing to our regression strategy and release readiness Collaborate with QA, Dev, and Product teams to continuously improve testing processes and software quality Contribute to test strategy and documentation, and occasionally assist with manual functional testing when needed What We’re Looking For

1–2 years of experience in software development or QA automation Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Ruby, Python, Java, or JavaScript)—Ruby experience is strongly preferred Experience with test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured Knowledge of QA best practices, Agile workflows, and testing methodologies Comfort with Git and version control workflows (pull requests, branching, etc.) Nice-to-Haves

Experience testing Angular applications Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Basic performance or load testing experience Experience in designing and managing test data Strong written and verbal communication skills Why Aquent?
