Maintenance Supervisor
for The Hammond at Greenmount Park, a community in Baltimore, MD currently under construction. Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, overseeing contractors, obtaining bids, supervising the maintenance team, and performing maintenance tickets for the building. The role includes assisting with unit turnovers and participating in the after-hours on-call rotation. This position reports directly to the Community Manager. Hourly wage is dependent on experience and certification. Responsibilities Oversee maintenance tickets and ensure timely resolution Assist with unit turnovers and participate in after-hours on-call rotation Oversee contractors, obtain bids, and manage maintenance projects Supervise maintenance team and ensure work quality and safety Coordinate with the Community Manager and property staff Qualifications 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience Experience with appliance repairs, drywall, painting, plumbing, basic electrical work HVAC/CFC certification is preferred Central Plant experience is preferred Ability to understand and oversee work performed by contractors Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Strong physical condition and mobility; ability to work weekends and be on-call Benefits and Work Environment Habitat America offers a competitive salary, health and dental plans, paid time off, 401k access, training opportunities, and professional growth support.
