Electrical Test Engineer
on our
TRATON USA’s R&D Team . The Functional Verification and Validation team focuses on validating electrical and electronic systems of commercial trucks and school buses. We are looking for an
Electrical Test Engineer
to develop test procedures and perform electrical testing of vehicle systems. This includes system integration, software, communication protocols, electronic components, power systems, and wiring. Testing will cover diesel, electric, and autonomous vehicles.
Responsibilities
Develop test cases and procedures based on requirements. Conduct electrical validation tests and analyze data. Troubleshoot failures in circuits or software. Prepare formal test reports.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science. OR Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the same fields with completion prior to employment start date.
Additional Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, Asylee).
Desired Skills
Knowledge of SAE J1939 CAN protocol. Experience with data acquisition and measurement tools. Proficiency in English and technical writing.
