Responsibilities
Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA. Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake. Clinical tasks such as measuring and recording patients\' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and related duties. Observe patients, chart changes, report adverse reactions, and take necessary action. Operate or oversee X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray scans. Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition. Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment. Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Adhere to the Core Values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees and contribute to a positive work atmosphere. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Education
At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting such as Urgent Care. Indiana Residents Only: Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. License: Full Scope X-Ray Technologist State License.
