Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job with OSF HealthCare System/OSF Medical Group in Amboy, IL
Join an established Primary Care practice and perform patient assessment, assign diagnosis, and establish plans of care. Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and groups. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with excellent work/life balance and no call or weekends. Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific research. Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care, and current research. Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program. Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
