Overview
Compass Health Center is seeking a Group Therapist as part of our Over 18 Mood and Anxiety PHP/IOP programs, focusing on Complex Anxiety and OCD. The role centers on group-based programming, facilitating evidenced-based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT, and delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. Our centrally located Chicago office is in North Center with social events hosted on our rooftop. What You’ll Do
Lead group therapy sessions teaching DBT, CBT, and ACT skills Conduct and write assessments of new patients to the program Provide individual and milieu-based exposure therapy Participate in individual therapy as needed Develop and implement program material and curriculum Communicate with patients’ family members or support system, as needed Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure continuity of care Provide updates to the insurance utilization team Chart patient progress daily Attend training for Exposure Response Prevention Therapy Who You Are
One year, post-master’s exposure therapy experience is preferred Licenses or certifications such as PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LSW, LPC are preferred Core skill set in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Compensation and Benefits
Compensation range: $47,000 - $65,000 USD. The range reflects multiple career levels across the organization and depends on factors such as experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges. Eligible benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, 401k with company matching, generous PTO (including competitive parental leave after 1 year of employment), and ongoing CEU/training opportunities.
