Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics Location: Naperville, IL Schedule: Full Time Compensation: $68,000-$82,000 annually, based on years of experience Incentives: $3000 Sign On Bonus and Student Debt Benefit Program Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with diagnoses including sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits, and more. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to help pediatric patients reach goals and learn new skills. Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs and determine appropriate goals, frequency, and duration of occupational therapy services. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and documentation for each patient. Supervise and delegate OT care within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations. Participate in design and implementation of new programs or procedures with approval from management and referring physicians per HIPAA guidelines. Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice. Adhere to state Practice Acts and who you may supervise. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy State occupational therapist license (or eligibility) CPR certification Valid state driver’s license Benefits
