Radiology Tech - 12 hr weekend

Job duties include administering radiation in the production of high-quality radiographic images, exhibiting mastery of radiographic equipment, producing images of the highest technical quality, assisting radiologists during fluoroscopy and other patient examinations, and explaining procedures to patients. Administers radiation in the production of high-quality radiographic images. Exhibits mastery of all functions of radiographic equipment. Produces images of the highest technical quality while adhering to the principle of ALARA in regard to radiation dose. Exhibits ingenuity in the imaging of pediatric, geriatric, trauma, and atypical patients. Assists radiologist during fluoroscopy and other patient examinations. Assists with the administration of oral, rectal, and IV contrast media. Job specifications and core competencies include education as a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology, licensure with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and current Indiana State Department of Health X-ray Operator Certificate and BLS Certification.
