About the Job
This is a post-doctoral position located in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME). Areas of biomedical engineering research include: Bioinstrumentation and Medical Devices, Biomaterials and Micro/Nanofabrication, Biomechanics, Biomedical Optics and Imaging, Biomolecular, Cellular, and Tissue Engineering, Cancer Bioengineering, Cardiovascular Engineering, Neural Engineering
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with a faculty mentor who determines the training agenda.
Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a research project.
Prepare and present data to study investigators.
Author, co-author, and otherwise collaborate on reports, conference papers and journal articles.
Supervise research assistants and laboratory personnel.
This is a standing posting to remain open throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and technical skills with research and/or laboratory experience in the appropriate field
About the Department The Department of Biomedical Engineering is an academic unit of the College of Science and Engineering that administers biomedical engineering degree programs at all levels (bachelor\'s, master\'s, and doctoral).
While research possibilities among the graduate faculty span the full spectrum of biomedical engineering, the Department has established interests in cardiovascular, neural, and cancer engineering. We seek to focus growth and excellence in these research areas as we grow.
Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $61,008 - $72,960 annually; depending on education/qualifications/experience
