Overview
A full-time School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for an 8-week leave coverage assignment in a K-12 school setting located in Providence, RI. This onsite position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week and is ideal for professionals holding the Rhode Island SLP CCC and Educator Certificate. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication development. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school regulations. Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Rhode Island SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Rhode Island Educator Certificate with SLP endorsement. Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff. Location
