Overview
THE POSITION: Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Responsibilities
Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized. Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts; tag and save parts when the job is under warranty or requested by the customer. Advise service advisor if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed with the promised time. Document work performed and road-test vehicles to ensure the repair addresses the customer complaint. Quality check work performed and attend training classes; keep abreast of factory technical bulletins. Ensure customers’ vehicles are kept clean and follow safety and housekeeping policies and procedures; follow federal, state, and local regulations governing service repair work. Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; professional personal appearance; excellent communication skills. Ability to meet company production and quality standards; Michigan Mechanic Certification; High School Diploma or GED. Education And Experience

Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area; perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair as authorized; communicate with Parts to obtain needed parts; tag and save parts as required. Road-test vehicles to ensure repair addresses the customer complaint; document work performed; conduct quality checks; attend training; stay current with factory bulletins. Keep customers’ vehicles clean and adhere to safety and housekeeping policies. Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; frequently walk, sit, and talk or hear. The Company
