Assembly Technician - Assembler
with experience assembling products in a manufacturing setting and would like to join a great working environment.
POSITION SUMMARY - Assembly Technician - Assembler
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. The position assembles production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. This role works independently and is expected to be self-driven.
Shift
Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m./8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Primary Accountabilities
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Utilize hand-held tools
Maintain inventory of products in workstations
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Perform all work following quality standards and established safety procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform load tests as required by customer engineering
Apply various adhesives and sealants with appropriate applications per customer specifications
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent GED
1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly
Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals, and work instructions.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Quality-minded with a high mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Can-do attitude with the ability to take on new responsibilities as needed.
